Food Technologist – R&D (Formulation Lab)

Job Overview Emami Limited is looking for a Food Technologist to join its R&D Formulation Lab. The selected candidate will assist in the development and formulation of food and nutraceutical products, support pilot trials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing product formulations. JD FT R&D 🔬 Key Responsibilities Develop new food and nutraceutical formulations Improve existing product formulations Prepare prototype samples for internal review and marketing evaluation Ensure product development complies with FSSAI and regulatory guidelines Conduct long-term and accelerated stability studies Maintain R&D documentation and reports Perform market sample comparison and literature review Maintain formulation lab instruments and equipment JD FT R&D 📊 Additional Responsibilities Prepare daily and monthly R&D reports Create technical presentations for completed studies Maintain Laboratory Notebook (LNB) and chemical logbooks Assist with special assignments from senior management JD FT R&D 🤝 Team Collaboration Internal Teams Research & Development Marketing / Brand Teams External Stakeholders Raw Material Suppliers Contract Manufacturers JD FT R&D 🧠 Skills & Knowledge Technical Skills Knowledge of Food Science, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, and Processing Understanding of shelf-life studies and stability testing Familiarity with functional food formats such as: Gummies Powders Honey-based products Functional beverages Behavioral Skills Positive attitude Quick learner Team player Disciplined professional JD FT R&D 🎓 Eligibility Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology and 0–5 years experience in product development, formulation, or food R&D are encouraged to apply.
